Performance Analysis of a Multi-Hop Parallel Hybrid FSO/RF System over a Gamma–Gamma Turbulence Channel with Pointing Errors and a Nakagami-m Fading Channel

چکیده

Due to the influence of atmospheric environment and pointing errors, performance free space optical communication is greatly limited. In this paper, we propose a parallel multi-hop hybrid (FSO)/radio frequency (RF) system improve performance. The FSO sub-link RF are modeled by Gamma–Gamma turbulence with errors Nakagami-m distributions, respectively. Based on selective combination scheme, probability density function (PDF) cumulative distribution (CDF) output signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) FSO/RF one-hop or direct link obtained. Then, PDF CDF SNR derived decoded forward (DF) protocol considered. Finally, expressions average bit error rate (ABER) outage for system, link, FSO-only link. results show that can effectively mitigate negative impact significantly
